About Us
Have you been looking for a chiropractor in Lawrenceville?

Given the option, most people would prefer to be healthy and avoid illness if possible, and chiropractic care can help those people achieve their health and wellness goals.
Community Content
Chiropractic treatment could offer the solution if chronic pain is one of your PTSD symptoms.
Manual manipulation of the spine and other joints in the body have been around for a long time.
Ancient writings from China and Greece dating between 2700 B.C. and 1500 B.C. mention spinal manipulation and the maneuvering of the lower extremities to ease low back pain.
The primary focus of chiropractic is simply to adjust the spine and remove those things which interfere with the body's natural normal healing ability.
New Patient Center
We understand that arriving at a chiropractic office for the first time can be nerve racking.
If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Lawrenceville chiropractic office for the first time.
Filling out paperwork, learning new faces, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
That's why at Family Healthcare Clinic - Dr. Deborah Brown our aim is to remove any unnecessary stress or tension and make you feel comfortable during your visit with our chiropractor.
What To Expect
In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly.
When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse.
If you tried to build your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
These concepts apply to your body as well, and chiropractic care addresses many common reasons why people experience pain and other health issues.
Your First Visit
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Deborah Brown to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options.
This initial visit is designed for Dr. Deborah Brown to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Deborah Brown will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility.
Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well.
Phase 1 : Relief Care
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy.
Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health.
In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
For example, consider a cavity in your tooth.
Does it hurt when it first develops or only after it has become serious?
How about heart disease?
Regardless of whether you are talking about cancer, heart disease, diabetes, stress or problems with the spine, pain is usually the last thing to appear.
Phase 2 : Corrective Care
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care.
If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater.
In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.
During the correction / restorative phase of your care, you will not have to receive adjustments as often as you did during the first phase of care and, depending on your particular circumstances, you may begin doing exercises and stretches either at the center or at home to help accelerate your healing.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, routine chiropractic care can help ensure that your physical problems do not return, and keep your body in optimal condition.
Just like continuing an exercise program and eating well in order to sustain the benefits of exercise and proper diet, it is necessary to continue chiropractic care to ensure the health of your musculoskeletal system.
When you make routine chiropractic care a part of your lifestyle, you avoid many of the aches and pains that so many people suffer through, your joints will last longer and you will be able to engage in more of the activities you love.

Dr. B's Recommendations
A salt bath is recommended nightly to relieve the muscle aches, soreness, symptoms from your injury.
This will not cure your injury but simply help by giving relief.
During the month of December, we are giving every patient a CataplexA C tablet after their visit from Standard Process.
Be sure to pick up the CataplexA C flyer that explains the great attributes you gain from this one nutrient.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy does more than make you feel good, it can actually help your body achieve balance and health.
Massage therapy offers a natural treatment approach which actually relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients.
Our chiropractic office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is complimentary to their chiropractic care.
Each massage therapy plan is tailored to meet the patient's unique pain condition or injury.
Some investigative studies have even indicated that a single session of massage may help boost your immune system!
Infrared Sauna & Detox Foot Bath
When the system is switched on and the feet are immersed in the water, the energizer emits a positive and negative Bio-Energetic current which travels through the body, rebalancing it.
The ionic exchange that takes place between your body and the footbath has a stimulating and balancing effect on the bio-energetic fields of the body.
A less healthy body has a more positive charge, whilst a healthy body is negatively charged.
The Ionic Detox Foot Bath balances your body to have a more negative charge.
Foot Stabilizers
If your feet don't have proper support from your footwear, regular activities will force your body out of alignment, causing stress and fatigue to major joints and muscles.
This provides you with the maximum support in all three arches, providing a solid foundation for your body, your kinetic chain.
Most orthotic companies only support only one arch, when only one arch is being supported the problem shifts to another part of your body.
Such over-the-counter products often overcorrect one arch, causing more harm than good and shifting pain and discomfort from one area of the body to another.
Bia
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis or Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA) is a method of assessing your "body composition" --the measurement of body fat in relation to lean body mass.
It is an integral part of a health and nutrition assessment.
Research has shown that body composition is directly related to health.
A normal balance of body fat is associated with good health and longevity.
BIA fosters early detection of an improper balance in your body composition, which allows earlier intervention and prevention.
Healthy Recipes
Your NUTRITION is something that many chiropractors will discuss with you when you come in for any type of health assessment or treatment.
What you eat does translate into how you look and feel so it isn't a topic to be taken lightly.
Look for short ingredient lists.
In general, the shorter the better.
The longer the list and the bigger the words means you are likely getting an unhealthy does of artificial ingredients.
Nutritional experts also recommend that you shop the outside aisles of the store.
