Dr. Reid was born in Howard County and grew up on a farm east of Big Spring.
He graduated from Coahoma High School.
Dr. Reid has been married to his Tessa since 1992.
In addition to being and active participant in Little League and other community events, he has served on the Coahoma Independent School District School Board for 12 years, serving as Board President the majority of that time.
He has three boys, Reagan, Ryan, and Riley.
