Services
A special hand arrangement called a "pisiform contact" is used to deliver a specific thrust at the right place and the right time.
This technique may include motion palpation, with the chiropractor feeling the spinal joints move as you turn and bend.
Or, a leg check may be performed, to uncover an imbalance in the neck or lower spine.
With the malposition of one or more spinal bones identified, a specific manual thrust is administered.
The direction, speed, depth and angle that are used are the result of years of experience, practice and a thorough understanding of spinal mechanics.

A. Chiropractic philosophy says that the human body is self-healing, and has an inner intelligence which is controlled by your nervous system.
The improper motion or position of the vertebrae, called a subluxation, can cause an interference between the exchange of information from the brain and nervous system to the organs and tissues.
This interference can then result in compromised function of those tissues.
Adjustments can help this communication and restore health.
A. Chiropractic adjustments typically involve a quick, gentle push on the spine with the doctor's hands to help restore motion that has been lost to certain places in the spine.

During your consultation with the doctor you will have the opportunity to discuss your short and long-term health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you.
After this consultation a physical examination will be performed.
If it is determined that x-rays are needed before treatment, you will be given a few options on how to have x-rays taken.
We look forward to meeting you!
On your second visit you can plan to set aside about 30 minutes.
If Dawn has not already gone over your insurance and chiropractic coverage if that applies to you, she will take a few minutes to discuss your benefits and what you can expect your cost to be at each visit.
